Individualizing Objective Testing, Individualized Teacher Preparation.
Florida State Univ., Tallahassee. Dept. of Science Education.; General Learning Corp., Morristown, NJ.
This publication is one of 14 modules prepared for pre- and in-service teachers to prepare themselves for teaching individualized and activity-centered Intermediate Science Curriculum Study materials. In this module, an attempt is made to make teachers aware of the main components of a good test. Various statements and activities are given in the first three chapters for teachers to do at their own pace. A self-evaluation follows these chapters with correct answers given at the end of the book. Special discussions are included in the second section of the book on clarifying meanings of different performance verbs that are commonly used in tests. Bibliographic information about the theory of evaluation, objectives, and centers of educational testing are given. (PS)
