Oberlin's Education Commission recommendations for curriculum reform, degree requirements, evaluation, environment, and structure are contained in this document. The Commission is made up of faculty, students and administrative officers. Among the changes proposed are: the abolition of subject-matter, language and physical education requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree; the abolition of residence requirements; changes in faculty and student workloads; and changes in tuition arrangements for students.
