A comprehensive view of the instructional resources center at Iowa State University is presented. The center is used primarily for students in teacher education, who design multi-media teaching packages as part of their course work. This paper includes information on the center's staff, which includes a director, an instructor, graduate assistants, and work-study students, the facilities, and procedures for evaluating the program. A photo-essay describes the work of one student in using the center and designing a multi-media package. Also included are the titles of some students' teaching packages, miscellaneous operating data about the center, a year's budget, the floor plan, samples of a news bulletin about the center sent to faculty members, and information for work-study students about the center and their tasks there.
