This guide was prepared to help administrators, educators, researchers, and professional practitioners in rehabilitation, social services, education, and the health and welfare fields learn and use those information services and systems relevant to them. The 156 organizations are listed as either primary or secondary information services depending on their significance to the target group. Descriptions of the 44 centers included as primary sources contain the address and telephone number, eligibility requirements for services, mission of the centers, services and publications offered by the center, professional specialists, holdings, topics relevant to rehabilitation, and user information. The 112 organizations listed as secondary services are subdivided into general reference librarians and specific information centers. Their descriptions contain address and telephone number, eligibility requirements for services, mission of the center, services offered by the center, and holdings.
