The Academic Advisory Staff (AAS) of the Office of International Training (OIT), Agency for International Development (AID) analyzes and interprets the academic credentials of AID participants from cooperating countries in terms of the educational system of the U. S. To carry out this service the AAS has developed a library of reference materials for use by credential analysts, educators, and AID staff members. This document lists the references contained in the library. The references are grouped in terms of their content and usefulness on either a world-wide basis or by regions of the world. Within each region the countries are listed alphabetically, and the pertinent references follow each country. (HS)
