This introductory conversational course in Spanish is intended primarily for classroom instruction. The student learns to speak contemporary Spanish through the use of short dialogs which take him from simple school activities to talk about the new student in class. Performance objectives are prescribed for culture study, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. A grammatical and lexical inventory of the text "En la Escuela" is included. (RL)
