Let's Plan. A Guide to the Planning Process for Voluntary Organizations.
DeBoer, John C.
The essential phases in the planning function in voluntary organizations are presented in this book. Part I contains four chapters that outline each component of a planning system, which are decision making, planning functions, and research, and illustrate how these components are put into practice. Part II details each step of the planning process through its four chapters, which discuss the determination of goals and objectives, the identification of alternatives, detailing the action plan, and evaluation. Part III, comprised of six chapters, delineates the application of the planning process to various facets of an organization and describes additional tools for the planner. A brief bibliography is provided. (DB)
