This paper presents the results of a survey conducted to discover what programs are being offered to independent colleges and universities and their students by the supporting states. The states included in the survey are Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The agency to be contacted for aid is included with the discussion of each state. (HS)
