Dartmouth Project COEXIST (Computer Oriented Experiment in Science Teaching). A Discussion of the First Year's Activities 1969-70.
Danver, Jean H.
Funded by the National Science Foundation, Dartmouth College's Project COEXIST (Computer Oriented Experiment in Science Teaching) had the main goal of development of a new introductory sequence of calculus courses accompanied by a carefully coordinated new elementary physics sequence and a new introductory engineering course, relying heavily on the use of a time-shared computer and automatic plotting equipment. This report discusses the most important details of the project activities for 1969-70. (Author/TS)
