Snowflake Union High School District No. 60: Second High School Feasibility Study. Report of Survey.
Arizona State Univ., Tempe. Bureau of Educational Research and Services.; Arizona State Univ., Tempe. Coll. of Education.
The report of the feasibility study for construction of a second high school in the Snowflake Union High School District includes discussions of student population data, educational factors, high cost factors for school operations, the educational planning process, and second high school plant facility needs. Based on outcomes of the feasibility study, it is recommended to the Board of Education that a second high school be built, opening in September, 1973. Four problem areas--legal problems related to bonding, rising construction costs, high interest rates, and adequacy of enrollment--are also discussed, and recommendations relevant to each area are offered.
