This directory of special programs and financial assistance for black and other minority group students is designed for guidance counselors and college-bound students. The information was obtained directly from the colleges, and describes programs, assistance, and admission policies for the disadvantaged. The description of each school is only as complete as the information received in reply to the questionnaire sent would provide. All of the schools that showed an interest are included in the directory. The counselor is urged to use this book as an introduction, but not as a substitute for his concern, commitment, and skill.
