This report contains speeches and notes of workshop participants meeting to discuss improvement of the design and construction of elementary and secondary school facilities. Participants included educators, architects, engineers, and contractors. Twenty-two selections cover such topics as planning coordination for school construction, cost control on school design, the computer as a teaching aid, and construction systems. The desirable characteristics of special facilities for physical and health education, music education, media centers, and learning material centers are outlined.
