Manual of Tape Scripts: Hebrew, Level 1.
New York City Board of Education, Brooklyn, NY. Bureau of Curriculum Development.
The tape scripts in this manual of Hebrew are intended to accompany audio tapes which have been prepared for use in the presentation and practice of the grammatical structures recommended for Level 1 in the New York City Foreign Language Programs for Secondary Schools. It is hoped that the tapes and accompanying scripts will serve as key aids in presenting and drilling structures, thus freeing some of the teacher's valuable time for the more creative aspects of foreign language instruction. It is also hoped that teachers will be encouraged to prepare similar scripts and tapes to meet particular local and community needs. (Directions for using the scripts are presented in the Introduction.) (AMM)
