Activities reported herein include studies conducted, contracts, and development group work. Technical notes are presented concerning the design of science laboratories for Asian secondary level schools; it is noted that changed designs for curriculum and new methods of teaching science have necessitated new approaches to the design of science laboratory facilities. Consideration is given to laboratory electricity, heat and water supply, and work bench design, for both urban and rural areas of Asia. Also included are abstracts of 12 journal articles concerned with various aspects of educational buildings. (FS)
