Ten alternative desegregation techniques are discussed and illustrated in chapter III. In chapter IV, general criteria for the reassignment of faculty and staff on a desegregated basis are suggested. A checklist of 41 questions for school officials and teachers engaged in desegregation planning is included in chapter V.
