Recommendations are made for the establishment of new public senior colleges in Illinois and for the general location of these colleges. Included are various data and discussions which offer supporting evidence for the recommendations. The supporting evidence is categorized as follows--(1) projection of college-age population and degree-credit enrollment, (2) junior colleges, (3) some of the major socioeconomic factors related to the establishment of new public senior colleges, and (4) influences of new public senior colleges or existing institutions of higher education.
