Individualizing instruction was the theme of the 1964 Western States Small Schools Project summer workshop for Nevada participants. The report contains a summary, written by a participating teacher, of ideas and concepts presented to the workshop, and extracts from papers and speeches on such subjects as the value of the individual, creative writing, variable class size, and diagnostic teaching. Also included in the report are lists of consultants and participants, a daily schedule of activities, and a statement o f workshop expenses. (JH)
