(1) good urban schools should harmonize with their setting, (2) an example of a two-story school whose classroom window orientation is directed toward a central court is shown, (3) an example of a three-winged school which provides every classroom with a corner view is shown, (4) a school in which pie-shaped rooms open on to common areas is said to facilitate team teaching, (5) two examples of vertical growth tower schools are shown, (6) the combination of schools into multiple use towers is shown in two examples, (7) the use of air rights is shown in two proposals, (8) examples of how educational facilities might use underground space are shown, and (9) the concept of small urban schools electronically linked to a central facilities nucleus is illustrated .
