Three common approaches used by school counselors, administrative/managerial, client-centered, and behavioral, are described. It is concluded that counselors' development and revision of their own counseling theory facilitates counselors' continuing professional growth. (CJ)

Measurement training had little general effect on either the behavior of two teachers or of their multihandicapped deaf students. Compared a peer model and professional model for teaching study skills to college freshmen.
