This is an examination of the structural stability of affective characteristics relevant to education over a period of approximately seven months. Results indicated that the six interpretable factors were differentially stable over the time intervals. (Author)

Elementary school children of both sexes (n=132) saw a male peer film model either rewarded or punished for touching prohibited toys. The model either smiled, cried, or showed no reaction, and subsequently had a differential influence on the behavior of children who observed. (NH)

Profiled adult first offender Texas shoplifters (N=94). Results indicated that the modal shoplifter is female, Hispanic, and has a poor self-concept. Males tend to act more impulsively than females in shoplifting style, and shoplifters tend to be anxious, depressed, and self-doubting. (WAS)
