The study on the cost effectiveness of government support of higher education for the deaf found that, after 20 years, deaf Bachelor degree recipients: (1) will have earned $220,000-$365,000 more than persons without degrees, and (2) will have paid $89,000-$140,000 more in taxes than those without Bachelor degrees.
