A nine-state taxonomy was developed embracing the panorama of stated and implied reasons characteristically given for the improvement of international understanding. Clustered into three categories -- the National, Personal, and International-Interhuman Orientation Categories -- the taxonomy is outlined and the more fully described. (Author/ND)
