This article describes brief therapy using a structural approach. During the course of therapy the encopretic behavior of a pre-adolescent boy was observed in relation to the interaction and structure of the family system. A rapid treatment approach to common sexual dysfunctions has been used in treating 59 couples, including 74 symptomatic individuals. The intensive workshop format resulted in a saving of patient and professional time and is seen as a viable alternative to more time-consuming approaches of treating various sexual dysfunctions. Questionnaires from 225 homosexual and 233 heterosexual adult women revealed 115 cases of rape or attempted rape. Data from 78 follow-up questionnaires are summarized. About the same proportion of lesbians and heterosexuals, age 16 or over, were the object of rape. Inferences are drawn about the rapists' attitudes toward women. (Author)

The similarities ratio was computed and compared with the score from a random subsample of 18 juveniles from a larger population of 200 offenders.
