Clarke, Johnnie Ruth – 1968
This study attempted to provide a way to identify disadvantaged students at the junior college and to determine what data could be used as a basis for developing a curriculum to help them. Maier, R.O. – 1968
This evaluation was made to determine whether the SCAT-verbal cutoff scores were adequate for placement in the four different English courses. To accomplish this, 223 students for whom both the scores and the English grades were available for the four courses were chosen. The total number of students (381) completing the courses were used as the…

Roehlke, Helen J. – 1968
Various approaches to assessing test score similarity have been used. One form of comparison, encompassing variability in both shape and elevation, is the generalized distance function (D), where D is the difference between two sets of scores. In this methodology, the profile of each member of the sample group is compared with the profile of every…

Dovgyallo, A. M. – 1967
A study was made on the synthesis of teaching machine elements to ensure the stabilization of the chi indicator of the teaching process of each student. At first, a procedure was developed for calculating the chi indicator for the case when the teaching machine predicts the magnitude of this indicator based on probabilities derived from an…

The Embellishment score on the Memory-For-Designs Test (MFD) may be a useful predictor of confabulation. Male (N=16) patients who were judged by staff to be habitual confabulators embellished their drawings on the MFD twice as frequently as a group of 16 patients of similar age (40-80) and diagnosis judged to be nonconfabulators.
