In order to enhance the therapeutic counseling potential of campus pastors, a brief orientation and training program in counseling was designed utilizing a client-centered orientation. A survey was conducted in 1986 of 25 physicians' practices in rural Oklahoma, with data collected on the number of patient visits and practice costs. (Author/MLW)

Interviews were conducted with refugees from Poland, Rumania, Iraq, and Vietnam to assess their health care utilization and health service use barriers. The results showed good overall health.
