A sensitive measurement model is developed that provides transactional scale values for individual members of a group, as well as an evaluation of pairwise interactions and balances that are emergent properties of the group itself. (Author/DG)

The belief that sororities have a differential effect on the attitudes and values of their members was not supported by this study. The results indicate that attitudinal and personality changes over a four year period were similar for the sorority girls and independents. (Author)

Personality characteristics of dental students as freshmen and seniors were studied, and no significant change was found. The results imply that dental school had minimal effect on students' personal needs, values, and attitudes, making faculty knowledge of these traits essential before admission. (MSE)

Observation of classroom coping behaviors of 1,066 K-12 students and of several hundred effective public school teachers provides discipline strategies for classroom management.
