Student attitudes toward residence hall security were assessed on a large midwestern university campus shortly before a coed was murdered in one of the residence halls. This study discusses a plan designed for a ten-year-old emotionally disturbed boy which included positive feedback for academic achievement and positive social emotional feedback from peers. Reports on a survey made of 300 freshmen college students on the amount of perceived parental influence on college and vocational choice. Although students surveyed indicated that they made their own decisions, most said that they sought parental advice on important issues. (Author/PC)
