Thirty-three congenitally physically disabled children, aged 4-6 and 14-16, were studied in order to define objective means for identifying children exhibiting the Cocktail Party Syndrome. A study examined teachers' and parents' ratings of 39 developmentally handicapped (DH) and 9 learning disabled children on the revised Vineland and the AAMD Adaptive Behavior Scale.
