Cyril Burt presented data in his paper that were in perfect agreement with a genetic theory of IQ and social class. A detailed analysis of these data reveals that they were fabricated from a theoretical normal curve, from a genetic regression equation, and from figures published more than 30 years before Burt completed his surveys. Lazarus, Arnold A. – Counseling Psychologist, 1978
If the term "behavioral" is applied to all theorists who adhere to the canons of science, people like Carl Rogers and Hans Strupp will have to be dubbed "behavior therapists." Important findings, significant differences, and crucial hypotheses are entirely overlooked if scientific data provided by "nonbehavioral" researchers are ignored. (Author)
