Due to a redefinition of nursing by the American Nursing Association and financial needs which are difficult to meet, postsecondary vocational health care programs, especially practical nursing, are in danger of being phased out. The effect that larger multiple teacher departments have had on the teacher-student ratio in vocational agriculture programs in Indiana over the past fifteen years is analyzed and a list of the advantages and special concerns of multiple teacher vocational agriculture departments is presented.
