Knowledge, anxiety, and attitudes about older adults and one's own aging were assessed in 256 college students. Compared to 128 with no coursework, 128 who completed a psychology of aging course had more knowledge and more positive attitudes. No differences in personal anxiety or attitudes about self-aging were found. (Contains 26 references.) (SK)
