Adams, Jerry – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1971
The results showed that in spite of an apparent increase in candor resulting from a warm introduction to the MMPI, there was little evidence in these data of a concomitant increase in the acknowledgement of psychological problems, thus questioning the notion that high K and low F/K scores cover up psychological symptoms. Cheatham, T.; Rosentswieg, J. – Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1982
Fifteen female varsity softball coaches were administered the Sport Competition Anxiety Test prior to competition. Their heart rates, continuously monitored by tilemetry, did not relate significantly to the anxiety test data. The test does not appear to be a valid measure of trait anxiety for women softball coaches. (Author/PN)
