Legal Mechanisms of Protection of the Rights of Individuals Based on Blockchain to Bridge the Gap between the Higher Education Market and the Labor Market during Remote Investment Transactions on the Internet
Education in the Asia-Pacific Region: Issues, Concerns and Prospects
This paper considers the legal mechanisms of protecting the interests of private investors in the sphere of online investing, which are based on blockchain technologies. Blockchain technologies allow reducing the mismatch between the requirements of the labor market and the offer of the higher education market. This paper's methodology is interdisciplinary; it includes different approaches and concepts, which belong to the sphere of investment activity, the digital economy, including blockchain and specialized digital platforms, legal support for investment transactions, etc. The methodology is comprised of the systems approach, comparative analysis, abstraction, and observation. As a result of the conducted research, the authors identified competencies necessary for participants in these transactions to practically implement remote investment projects based on blockchain technology. The gap between the higher education market and the labor market in the field of remote investment agreements based on blockchain is characterized from the standpoint of cyber threats to smart contracts. Additionally, the authors defined the competencies needed by participants in remote investment agreements based on blockchain to bridge the gap between the higher education market and the labor market. Original recommendations were developed to overcome the gap between the education market and the labor market in the context of digitalization. The implementation of the developed recommendations will support the introduction and highly effective implementation of the proposed mechanisms to protect individuals participating in remote investment agreements based on blockchain. The novelty and value of this research lie in the development of theoretical and methodological aspects of remote investment transactions conducted by individuals in the online space from an educational perspective, utilizing a competency-based approach.
