Data from questionnaires completed by and interviews with faculty spouses are analyzed to study how moves for a husband's job or lack of geographic mobility for a wife's own employment may affect women's careers. Studied the effects of relocation on the psychosocial status of institutionalized patients. Found that among certain subgroups of patients, relocation resulted in significant decreases in depression, alienation and distress, and in an improvement in self-concept for all patients regardless of age, sex, or race. This study examines the search behavior of 380 intra-urban residential migrants, who were interviewed within four months of moving to a new location. Data on all houses searched are included, as well as the actual house selected. The results indicate residential search behavior is a minimizing process. (BT)

Fifty-one psychiatric inpatients were tested on a 36-item satisfaction scale before and after and after a reorganization at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center.
