This study investigated the relationship between conservation of length and impulsive-reflectivity. Kindergarten and first-grade students were administered two conservation of length tasks and an impulsive-reflexive scale. The Kindness Picture-Story Measure was constructed and given to subjects between the ages of 4 and young adulthood. Results showed that children acquire an understanding of different aspects of kindness at different ages. (DR)
