Discusses a longitudinal and cross-sectional study of two- to three-year-olds' acquisition of noun pluralization patterns in Hebrew. Results indicate that children choose the plural morpheme according to the nature of the final syllable of the singular noun and not by the grammatical gender of the noun. (EKN)

The study examined cognitive aspects of 60 learning disabled (LD) eight- to twelve-year-old Israeli boys as reflected in the Hebrew version of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R). Despite the translation of the test to Hebrew, the WISC-R preserved its ability to differentiate between LD and normal children. (Author)

Describes the adaptation--based on Roe's classification of occupations--of two interest inventories translated into English. In an analysis based on the responses of 181 participants, the items followed the six rules for interest inventory items formulated by Meir and Gati.
