This study analyzes urban-rural variations in Philippine household size and components of household size, as well as the relative contribution of these components to household size. Household size is larger in urban than in rural areas and the difference largely reflects the presence of extended family members and non-relatives. (Author)

Family therapists (N=60) were surveyed in an investigation of resistance by family members to family therapy. The father was viewed as the most resistant along a number of dimensions. Powell, Evan R. – Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior, 1976
Worker and caller behaviors are studied and compared in sample of 100 suicide calls to three crisis intervention centers. Verbal behaviors of workers and callers are substantially different, leading to the conclusion that crisis intervention is dissimilarly practiced between centers but similar within them. (Author)
