To address bias in medical education, we introduced the Upstate Bias Checklist (BC) in the first- and second-year curriculum and trained faculty through a development series. Eighty-one faculty participated, with 40 completing a follow-up survey assessing satisfaction, perceived relevance, and readiness to apply content. Eighty-five percent intended to use the BC to guide curriculum review and development. Faculty expressed interest in ongoing peer dialogue and support. Differences in how clinical vs. basic science faculty perceived bias highlights the need for tailored approaches. This initiative illustrates how faculty development can support bias mitigation in medical curricula.
