The perceptions of a representative sample of GRE test takers who were asked to indicate their views of the importance of eight factors in graduate admissions were examined. The nature and extent of drug use on an urban community college campus and the relationship between drug use and academic success were examined. Results of the investigation clearly indicate that there is no significant relationship between drug use and academic achievement at the college from which the sample was drawn. (JN)

Errors in self-reports of three academic performance measures are analyzed. Empirical errors are shown to depart radically from both no-error and random-error assumptions.
