Studied the effectiveness of a five and one-half day workshop and an alternate three and one-half day workshop on organization development in developing a more democratic style of leadership in Illinois park and recreation supervisory personnel. Researchers used simultaneous feedback, a means of modifying behavior through verbal cues transmitted via a transistorized ear plug, to improve the teaching skills of university faculty engaged in the act of teaching. Suggestions are given for organizing workshops to train school personnel to administer the Health Related Physical Fitness Test (HRPFT) of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
