In spite of new methodologies in foreign language instruction, much testing is still of the traditional type. Paper and pencil tests are given, testing in exactly the same way the teachers themselves were tested. This article suggests 25 points for language teachers on all levels. (Author/PJM)

Test records of 89 females and 62 males revealed though questions were misordered for the present sample, misordering was not great enough to seriously affect subtest scores or interpretation of intratest scatter. A total of 102 undergraduates rated overt test integrity items on the dimensions of invasion of privacy, ease of faking, and job relatedness. Items that required direct admission of counterproductive behaviors were identified as the most invasive but also the easiest to fake. Using a multidimensional measure of pay satisfaction, the Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ), this study assessed the discriminant validity between scores on a measure of distributive justice and the PSQ with 474 employees. Confirmatory factor analysis results indicate that items from both scales loaded on the hypothesized dimensions. (SLD)

Samples of 356 management students and 102 managerial employees were used to assess the hierarchical structure of the Negative Affectivity scale of J. Stokes and I. Levin (1990). Data suggest that a higher-order model is the most satisfactory representation of the underlying structure of the scale. (SLD)
