Examines the occupational aspirations of adolescent women. Subjects were 149 eleventh graders. Results indicate that many teenage females still subscribe to traditional sex-role values in their occupational aspirations. (Author)

Two surveys of ninth-grade black adolescents, one in 1963 and in 1973, were conducted in two metropolitan areas in the southeast using the same procedures to determine adolescent attitudes toward working wives as a threat to the marital relationship. Results are discussed. (Author)

Ambulatory geriatric patients (N=370) were rated on the Geriatric Rating Scale and results factor analyzed. The scale was found to be composed of three factors: Withdrawal/Apathy, Antisocial Disruptive Behavior, and Deficits in Activities of Daily Living. Fear of crime among 104 elderly in three southern California communities was studied through collection of data concerning physical and social environments, perception of safety, and fear of crime and precautions taken. The central city group tends to manifest most fear, which is inversely associated with social support variables. (Author)

Determinants of a favorable attitude toward retirement were sought in an interview study of 179 top executives, age 55 and over in 13 leading Israeli organizations. It was found that attitude towards retirement appears to be associated more closely with feelings about oneself than with perceptions of the job. (Author)

A survey of prevalent and preferred drug education styles revealed that a significant difference exists between the present approach to drug education and the preferred.
