The role of interviewing in diffusing possible harmful side effects of sterilization operations was evaluated in an acute general hospital. Two simultaneous field experiments were conducted with 50 vasectomy couples and 50 tubal-ligation couples. There were no significant differences between the interview and control groups. (Author)

This research, based on approximately 650 college student questionnaires, suggests that it is difficult for youth to think of their parents as sexual beings. Students' estimates of their parents' sexual behavior disagreed significantly with research data on the sexual behavior of parent-age populations. (Author)

This project was to defuse common myths that hinder communication about sexuality to help parents become more effective sex educators of their own children. The relationship between vision and mental functioning was investigated in a study of 295 elderly residents from three levels of care. Visual acuity and mental status were assessed. Findings indicate that there was indeed a relationship between vision and mental status. (Author)

Student clients (N=137) using the services of a campus ombudsman were asked to define the type of role that the ombudsman was perceived to have and should portray.
