The present research compared disabled persons' self-ratings on a variety of personality traits and attitudes with able-bodied self-ratings on the same items. Analyses indicated disabled persons perceive themselves in much the same way able-bodied persons perceive themselves. (Author)

The study focused on home economics research activities in 62 land-grant universities. The results indicate that while a sizeable portion of qualified faculty were not involved in research, 700 individuals were identified as active in their field. The purpose of this study was to investigate the usefulness of the Career Maturity Inventory (CMI) as a measure of vocational maturity. The findings indicate that scores on the CMI incrementally increase by grade level. However, the rate and level of this increase is influenced by sex, school, and curriculum effects. (Author)

Scatter on the five specific scales in the McCarthy was examined to explore the types of ability profiles exhibited by normal children.
