Parental involvement in planning and placement for 20 children initially referred for special education is described in light of the PL 94-142 requirements for informed parental consent. Comparisons indicate that parents' versions of each decision component were clear and accurate no more than 50 percent of the time. (Author)

This study examined the relationship between class level and ratings by class of instructors, courses and examinations. Three separate one-way ANOVA's were computed for the three variables by class level on 11,655 cases. Significant results were reported for each procedure. (Author)

The prediction of level of post-high-school educational choice was investigated using the theme scores of the Strong Vocational Interest Blank, sex and achievement level as predictors. Results indicated significant relationships between interests and educational choice, moderated in some cases by sex and achievement level. (Author)

The galvanic skin responses of ten seniors currently completing student teaching assignments and ten freshmen with no prior special education work were measured to neutral, low and high arousal special education words. Seniors were significantly more responsive than the freshmen to all word types. (Author)

A posttest-only control group design procedure was used with a semantic differential questionnaire to examine the persistence of changes in racial attitudes induced via a required training course for supervisors at a large military installation.
