Piper, William E.; Marrache, Myriam – Small Group Behavior, 1981
Investigated the relationship between behavior variables and pretherapy variables and found significant positive relationships. Braucht, G. Nicholas – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1979
Analyzed limitations of empirical research models in terms of ability to reflect an interactional perspective on suicidal behavior. A new research model was developed. Findings indicated such real-life behaviors cannot be understood by recourse to individual differences variables alone or environmental variables alone. (Author/BEF)

Kim, Ken I.; Organ, Dennis W. – Group and Organization Studies, 1982
Assessed the value of "noncontractual social exchange" (NSE) to describe leader behavior. Results of an experiment using an in-basket memo device showed that subordinate competence best predicted the intentions of such behavior by a sample of working adults: subjects were more likely to initiate NSE with highly competent subordinates. Yarber, William L.; Anno, Tim – Health Education (Washington D.C.), 1981
A human sexuality course was offered to students at the university level. Meyers, Allan R.; And Others – International Journal of Aging and Human Development, 1981
Surveyed 928 older Bostonians and found a negative correlation between age and alcohol consumption among older adults.
