The relationship between MMPI Mf, Hsx, and education was investigated, using heterosexual and homosexual men. Mf was a better discriminator between the homosexual and heterosexual groups than Hsx, and it was less contaminated by educational bias. The results of this study showed no significant differences in the size estimation levels of acute and chronic schizophrenic and nonschizophrenic psychiatric patients. Also, there were no significant differences when these groups were subdivided on the basis of both premorbid adjustment and paranoid status. (Author/CG)

Procedures suggested by Joreskog for performing exploratory factor analysis were evaluated. An in-depth analysis of psychological test scores of junior high school students was conducted. Prior theory and research have suggested that self-disclosure may have a curvilinear relationship with psychological disturbance. The present study investigated this hypothesis.
