Tests the hypothesis that an individual's degree of trust influences the extent to which that individual reacts to the presence of fear in a pay-off matrix. Results indicate that when fear is present, high trusters cooperated more frequently than low trusters. When fear is absent, both groups cooperate at the same rate. (JPS)
