Gaze at objects, another person, and background was measured for 15 days which constituted five different experimental groups in which task and situational factors were varied. Background stimuli had an unreliable effect on gaze. A simple object attracted a great deal of gaze and reduced gaze at the other person. (Author)

The purpose of the present study was to determine if a difference in death anxiety exists between people who engage in a risk-taking activity and people who do not. Motorcycle riding was chosen as a risk-taking activity. A significantly lower Death Anxiety Scale score was obtained from the motorcycle group. (Author)

Results of this study indicated that from prelaboratory to post laboratory, subjects' ratings showed a decrement in self disclosure toward both male and female friends. Thus the communications laboratory seems to have had a significant effect on the participants, the change being in the opposite direction from that expected. (Author)
