Beekeeping in Nepal has a rich history, and training programs have emerged as transformative agents in the industry's development. This study assesses the effectiveness of quality queen production training offered by the Beekeeping Development Program in Chitwan, Nepal held in March/April 2023. The research design employed a quantitative approach to evaluate participants' reactions, changes in knowledge, and skill levels before and after training. The statistical test involved a paired t-test. The study found that participants exhibited strong motivations for training, with a particular emphasis on increasing honey productivity and knowledge-sharing. Significant improvements in both knowledge and skill levels were observed after training, underlining the program's positive impact. The study highlights the critical role of training programs in beekeeping development and suggests the potential for improved product quality, colony performance, and additional income. Overall, the findings emphasize the need to prioritize and expand similar training programs in the beekeeping industry.
